Mark your calendars for March 11, 10:00-11:30 for the Seattle Area Archivists winter membership meeting to be held at the University of Washington.
Note that the focus of the meeting has been shifted: since we didn’t get a hearty response from student presenters, we will be treated to an inside look at two visual collections in the Special Collections department at UW. Nicolette Bromberg will share an acquisition story about a collection of materials from an early woman photographer, Viretta Denny; Hannah Palin will talk about the appraisal and eventual acquisition and inventory of large sports film collection.
