Happy Holidays! A friendly reminder that the deadline for submissions for the Winter issue of Sound Archivist is January 10, 2014.
The theme for the Winter issue is archives’ use of social media. How do you use social media? Which sites and tools work best? Have you used crowd-sourcing in any way? Do you blog? What challenges have you encountered? Technical? Policy? Administrative? Please share!
However, please don’t feel limited by the theme–we’d love to share news and ideas from your archives on other topics as well.
We are also looking for brief contributions to our regular sections:
- events occurring February-June
- new resources, book/article/Web site reviews, or highlights from workshops and conferences, for the new “Class Notes” section
- updates–what’s new at your archive?
