Do you know someone who wants to be more involved in the archival community in the Seattle area? Are you that person? If so, please submit your nominations to the Seattle Area Archivists Steering Committee at (firstname.lastname@example.org) by March 31st at midnight. Self-nominations are very welcome! Please provide the nominee’s name, institution, email address, and a brief description of why they would be a good addition to the Steering Committee.
Nominees will be announced by email to the membership in early April. The election will be held the last week in April via survey monkey ballot, and the new Steering Committee member will be announced and installed at the May 15th Seattle Area Archivists General Meeting. The new Steering Committee will decide within a month of election what office each member will hold: Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, or Member-at-Large (newsletter editor).
