The Moving Image Preservation of Puget Sound (MIPoPS) is a non-profit 501-(c)(3) corporation formed to help preserve cultural heritage by assisting archives, libraries, and other organizations with the conversion of analog video recordings to digital formats according to archival best practices.

Does your organization have videotapes in its collections? Do you seek assistance in migrating them to a digital format? In order to gather information about the needs of local repositories, MIPoPS has created a survey to collect statistics on the amounts and types of videotape formats within their holdings.
