Are you attending SAA in Atlanta this summer? Please join the Regional Archival Associations Consortium [RAAC] and the Society of Georgia Archivists for a symposium focusing on the interests of our nation’s regional archival organizations. Sessions will focus on advocacy, public awareness, education, disaster planning and recovery, and grant development. This free, day-long symposium will take place on Tuesday, August 2, at the Coca-Cola Headquarters in downtown Atlanta. Registration is now open. Lunch can be purchased at the Coke café, which accepts only credit cards.
Our Chair, Amy Heidrick, serves as SeaAA’s representative to RAAC, but will unfortunately be unable to attend SAA this year. SeaAA would like to know if there are any members who are interested in attending the symposium and can serve as our official representative.
