SeaAA’s Future — Happy Hour

The Seattle Area Archivists asks you to please attend a special topic Happy Hour at 6 PM on March 8th at the Elysian Tangletown pub in Wallingford.

The Steering Committee would like to discuss the future of SeaAA and we need to hear input from our membership. SeaAA has been a positive presence in the Seattle archival community for more than 30 years, however, we have recently been unsuccessful in recruiting new officers to serve on the Steering Committee. We have been operating with only three members for almost a year now (there are five established positions) and the current officers’ terms all expire at the end of June 2017. Please come and bring your energy and ideas to discuss how SeaAA might continue. The organization needs guidance and leadership from within its membership to continue to operate successfully. If we are unable to find at least 3 new officers, ideally 5 to return to the norm, SeaAA will unfortunately be forced to disincorporate at the end of the current officers’ terms. We hope to see many of you at this special happy hour – the first round is on SeaAA, so please join us!

Sincerely,
