Our newsletter, Sound Archivist, is going on Summer vacation! It will return this Autumn with our new Member-at-Large and newsletter editor, Odette Allen, at the helm. This gives everyone in the archival and historic communities a few months to consider what you’d like to contribute when she calls for submissions. Let’s make her first issue a big success!
February 9: Deadline to submit materials to be included in the forthcoming issue of the Seattle Area Archivists newsletter. See this previous post for more details.
February 12: Deadline for proposals for student presentations for our upcoming winter membership meeting. See this previous post for info.
March 1: Deadline for applications for the Northwest Archivists At-Large Student Scholarship and the Professional Development Scholarship. (Great timing: These scholarships can help you attend the Western Roundup 2010 meeting–including pre-conference workshops–being held in Seattle at the end of April!)
March 31: Speaking of the Western Roundup 2010 meeting, this is the last day for Early Bird Registration
April 6: And this is the last day to reserve a room at the conference hotel for the Western Roundup 2010 meeting
