
On Wednesday, November 6 MIPoPS (Moving Image Preservation of Puget Sound) will be hosting a joint meeting of ARMA Seattle and Seattle Area Archivists at Seattle City Hall.
MIPoPS is a local non-profit that helps organizations convert their analog video recordings to digital formats for preservation and enhanced access. Program director Libby Hopfauf will give a short presentation about what MIPoPS does, followed by a live demonstration of the digitization process in their studio, which is housed within the Seattle Municipal Archives.
